Plácido Neto

I'm Associate Professor (D.403 level) at Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Norte (IFRN) since August 2005. My research interests include Urban Data Science, Spatial-Temporal analysis, Data analysis and Internet of Things. I have worked on  Big Data Analysis, Data Visualization, Service-Oriented Approaches, Model-Driven Development and Software Engineering. I'm currently Undergraduate Course Coordinator (Analysis and System Development Technology - TADS, with around 250 students) at Federal Institute of Rio Grande do Norte - IFRN, Natal/RN Brazil.

Postdoctoral fellow in Computer Science at the University of Grenoble (HADAS team at LIG - Laboratoire d'Informatique de Grenoble ) in France from September 2014 to August 2015.
